The Venice Orchid’s Show - February 1st & 2nd, 2020
The Venice Area Orchid Society will present their annual orchid show and sale at the Venice Community Center, 326 S. Nokomis Ave., Venice, FL on February 1-2. Show hours: 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Admission is $5.00, children under 10 free.
Thousands of blooming orchids will be for sale and on display in 11 artistically designed exhibits. Orchid art, accessories and supplies will also be for sale. Free classes. Widely regarded as the most popular orchid show on Florida's west coast. See www.vaos.org for more information.
Music On Main - February 7th, 2020
Join us on Lakewood Ranch Main Street from 6 – 9 pm for Music on Main, a free concert series and block party for the public!

22nd Annual Thunder By The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival - February 14th-16th, 2020
This three day event is going to be held at the Sarasota Fairgrounds to benefit Suncoast Charities for Children. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy continuous live music featuring national recording artist WARRANT performing Saturday - February 15th @ 8:00PM. Enjoy vendors, freestyle acts, a motorcycle show, burnout competition, great food, and much more! Admission is $5.

Superhero 5K and Fun Run - February 15th, 2020
The 9th Annual Superhero 5K and 1-mile Fun Run will be held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota. This is a Foster Care Awareness Event, and Race #2 of the Race4Kids Challenge. More than just a race, the Superhero 5K brings together child welfare agencies and the community to highlight the nearly 1500 youth who are in local foster care in Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto Counties, while providing a family-friendly event with music, a kiddie zone, food, and giveaways.
Sarasota Invitational Regatta - February 21st -23rd, 2020
Experience the excitement of sprint racing on one of the best rowing venues in the country! The 11th Annual Sarasota Invitational Regatta (SIR) features, youth and masters rowing at Nathan Benderson Park - the site of the 2018 Masters World Rowing and the 2017 World Rowing Championships.
