Manatee County Market Update
So what does this mean to you?
Well new listings are up 16% in Manatee County and closed sales are down 5% so this means that we are seeing a little push back from the hot sellers market. Days on market will rise a bit and prices will level off if these trends continue.
If you currently have a home on the market:
Double check your marketing and pricing strategies with your agent. Make sure your home is being shown in the best possible light. How many showings are you getting a week? If you have had more than 10 showings and no offers you may be overpriced. What type of feedback are you getting from buyers?
If you are considering selling your home:
Now is still a great time to be a seller. We are seeing pricing that has met or exceeded 2006 crash levels. Buyers are still out in abundance with great financing options and a glut of cash buyers.
